Temperament Propensities and Self Awareness

Your temperament is a schematic of your spiritual and emotional DNA. If you are unaware of your temperament propensities, you will be unaware of why you do. the things you do. As Paul said in Romans 7…” Why do I do the things I do?

But Bill, is it really possible to “know” what I am prone to do? Well… yes, temperament “propensities” will show you these traits and characteristics, and then you can engage in a process of understanding them, and learning your strengths and weakness in all these areas. This will also give us insight into your specific responses to past trauma in your life.

But Bill… aren’t we all unique individual people? Yes, but we all have a certain DNA as the humans that God created. Below is a sampling of the 5 temperaments and their general traits. The above are general traits for the five temperaments. Hopefully this will make you curious enough to go and get your results presented to you. But keep in mind that there are many temperament blends that can change the propensities dramatically. In addition, there are three areas that temperament is revealed in; Inclusion (Social), Control, Affection (Close relationships). And… there is also an “expressed and “wanted” facet.

EIS uses the most accurate and concise process to properly identify your specific temperament elements. This is in sharp contrast to other methods that present much more generalized results, and use only the outdated and inaccurate four temperament standard as opposed to the Five Temperaments now widely accepted as the standard. Our results are generally 97% accurate.

So to sum things up… To become self aware, you basically must know your temperament makeup. When you do, you will understand your needs, the needs of those around you, and it’s the only way to become the most genuine you.
